TASTING NOTES: A rich and compelling nose of blackberry, blueberries, sandalwood, and dried herbs is augmented by layers of plum and cherry, cocoa, and graphite. Bold and full-bodied, this wine is structured firmly around a solid core of rich fruit, licorice, and herbs. Supple, ripe tannins provide ample backbone. The mouthfeel is plush and unctuous while retaining stability and finesse. The finish is extended, with lingering flavors of caramel, sweet oak, and chocolate.   Decant to reveal the complexity; best now through 2030.
