2016 Cabernet Franc, Giles Vineyard

TASTING NOTE:  Oak nuisances and generous tannin, this wine mixes red currant, boysenberry, and earthiness.  Dry and full-bodied, it shows characteristics of ripeness and balances.  Drink now or cellar until 2026.

 

FOOD PAIRING:  A perfect date wine, pair with a brasserie style steak au poivre et frites and end with a dark chocolate pot-de-crème for a complete amorous experience.
