Sourced from 50-year-old family-owned vineyards on the eastern slopes of Spring Mountain, this 2018 vintage Cabernet Sauvignon has a refined elegance. Opening with an abundance of blackberry jam, candied violets, crushed earth, and currants, this youthful Cabernet suggests unquestionable aging potential but is delicious now. The mouthfeel is pure satin, laced with mocha and plum. Tannins are firm but exist mainly on the back palate, framed by subtle spice. This wine is a quintessential California mountain cabernet, reflecting the artistry and tradition of old-world winemaking.
