2019 French Colombard, Russian River Valley

Fermented in 90% Stainless Steel and 10% new French oak, our 2019 French Colombard expresses bright fruit flavors and refreshing acidity.  French Colombard is a white French grape variety that is the offspring of Gouasi blanc and Chenin Blanc.  In France, French Colombard is among the permitted white grape varieties in Bordeaux.  

 

TASTING NOTES:  Aromas of white nectarine and subtle citrus come together in this refreshing wine.  The palate is round and luscious notes of grapefruit and tangerine.  The wine finishes with satisfying acidity.

FOOD PAIRINGS:  This refreshing wine will complement lively ceviche or creamy seafood risotto.  The acidity in the wine is also a great match for spicy Indian dishes.
