TASTING NOTE: This wine is complex from the start, with layers of cranberry, cherry, raspberry, and a subtle forest floor. Secondary notes and flavors of cola, tea, and a touch of spice. This is an intensely elegant wine with a fine backbone of bright acidity that helps to provide further texture and strength towards the mid-palate, leading to a persistent and juicy finish of sun-ripened strawberries.
FOOD PAIRING: With its bright cola and cherry notes, our 2019 Russian River Pinot Noir pairs beautifully with duck and is a great match for sweeter sauces and exotic spice blends like Chinese five-spice or sumac. Try it also with mushrooms, or heartier fish like tuna or wild salmon.
