2020 Pinot Noir, Cornerstone Vineyard
Los Carneros, Sonoma County
TASTING NOTE: This member’s favorite wine opens in the glass with black cherries, cranberries, nutmeg, and cinnamon on the nose. The palate is elegant, showcasing ripe berry fruit framed by a pleasant herbaceousness. The finish is soft with restrained tannins, toasty caramel flavors, and a brisk lift of acidity.
FOOD PAIRING: A reliable pairing for this wine is wild mushroom risotto, or a cheese plate, as this Pinot will pair nicely with a wide variety of cheeses. Try with an aged Camembert or creamy gouda alongside some cured meats.
