2023 Pinot Blanc, Rivino Vineyard

2023 Pinot Blanc, Rivino Vineyard

Mendocino County
Primarily produced as a single varietal in Alsace in northeast France and the Alto Adige region of Italy, Pinot Blanc is the white counterpart to Pinot Noir. Very delicate, with tightly packed clusters on the vine, this grape variety results in light, refreshing wines that easily showcase winemaking style and terroir. This limited production, vintage is a special release.

TASTING NOTES

Fresh from start to finish, this ever interesting wine begs to be paired with food. Upfront, aromas of mango, crisp apple and tropical notes are accented by subtle notes of bubblegum. On the palate the wine expresses flavors of ripe pear, baked apple and nectar. A medium to full-bodied white wine with a rich round mouthfeel and balanced acidity.

SUGGESTED FOOD P AIRING

Our Pinot Blanc calls out for fresh oysters or steamed mussels. Or, try with a recent favorite - fresh fettucine with lemon cream sauce. Extremely versatile and crowd-pleasing, this varietal would be perfect for both brunch and lunch fare.
