TASTING NOTES
Our 2025 Botanica Consecrata Orange Wine is crafted from Pinot Gris grown at Nelson Ranch in Mendocino County. While not made from oranges, its distinctive hue comes from extended skin contact during fermentation, allowing natural yeasts and textures to shape the wine’s character. Aromas of red fruit, cherry cola, kirsch liqueur, and candied cherry lead into a layered palate of strawberry, kiwi, and berry pie. A round, supple mouthfeel carries through to a lingering, expressive finish.
SUGGESTED FOOD PAIRING
This versatile orange wine pairs beautifully with dishes like roasted chicken, duck, or pork with fruit elements, as well as mushroom-based dishes and spiced vegetarian cuisine. It also shines alongside aged cheeses, charcuterie, and anything with herbal or savory depth, making it a great conversation wine for the table.
