Sonam Sherpa’s love of cooking began as a Buddhist monk in the Himalayas, where he prepared meals for hundreds of monks and learned Tibetan, Indian, and Nepali culinary traditions. After moving to the U.S. in 2008, he honed his skills under Chef Pemba Sherpa at Taste of the Himalayas in Napa Valley before exploring French-style cuisine at FARM. Today, he creates dishes that blend Eastern and Western flavors.
