Learn the art and science of winemaking! Start with a stroll through the stunning Cornerstone Gardens to learn about Meadowcroft’s unique winemaking perspective, along with the special history of Sonoma. Then, we’ll blend wines that have been aged in separate oak barrels to make a classic red Bordeaux style blend of cabernet sauvignon, cabernet franc, and merlot. Experiment putting together different blending components using your 5 senses. When your blend is just right, you’ll label and cork your own 750ml bottle of your perfect blend to take home. This is an experience that you’ll never forget! Includes a selection of locally sourced cheese & accompaniments.

We’ve partnered with Sonoma Ballooning in Sonoma Valley to bring a unique, cultural experience your way! Enjoy a magical sunrise join-in flight with Sonoma Ballooning, and after your post-flight champagne toast, continue your Sonoma wine country adventure with Meadowcroft Wines’ Blending Seminar.
Since no two hot air balloon rides are ever the same and you’ll be creating your own special blend of wine afterward, it’s safe to say that this is truly a one-of-a-kind experience that you’ll be sharing with your friends and family for years to come. Expect to be with Sonoma Ballooning for 3-4 hours and Meadowcroft Wines for approximately 2-2.5 hours.

Experience Meadowcroft new wine and food pairing, featuring four wines expertly matched with seasonal dishes by Chef Sonam Sherpa. This guided tasting explores the balance between food and wine while encouraging you to relax and find your own favorite pairings. Reservations must be made at least 72 hours in advance.
A Perfect Blend allows guests to create a custom wine by experimenting with different varietals. You’ll learn blending techniques and, most importantly, you will blend and hand-cork your very own bottle of wine to take home as a unique souvenir.
This exclusive experience pairs a scenic hot air balloon ride over Sonoma Valley with a hands-on wine blending session at Meadowcroft Wines. It’s perfect for a special outing or adventurous wine tasting day. Advance reservations are required, and balloon flights are subject to suitability of weather.
